Multiple
layers of material laminated together
make Redco (UK) Ltd FSI the first
choice for any discerning Owner or
Engineer.
Surface
Layer.
Aluminised foil to Glass Fabric: Plain-woven
glass fabrics of 200 g/m2 coated with
aluminised film to the glass fibre,
which cannot absorb oil, fray or tear.
This layer has a working range from
- 20 degrees C to + 200 degrees C.
Sound absorption Thick layer Foam.
Fire Zero rated foam is used to absorb
a substantial amount of unwelcome
air born noise form the engine compartment,
as can be seen on the transmission
loss information sheets, comparisons
with a standard 22mm ply panel.
Polymeric
Barrier.
A very heavy layer of SBS based Polymeric
barrier is now introduced to form
the sandwich filling between the isolation
layers of foam. This creates a noise
and vibration deadener. The material
functions by mass addiction, to vibrating
structures such as thin gauge panel
etc.
This product is available on its own
as a self-adhesive sheet.
Sound Isolation Thin Layer Foam.
This layer of foam creates a void
between the bulk head or panel of
the engine compartment and the sound
deadening Polymeric Barrier, thus
reducing the noise transmitted from
the bulk heads or panels.
